Project 2: Interlaced Hands

Competency 1: Creates Personal Images.

This project has 4 main parts:
1. warm-up sketches of your own hands in your sketchbook - different views, positions & angles
2. Ribbon drawing and shading techniques
3. Experimenting with different lines, shapes, textures and patterns
4. Creating a final Drawing incorporating a drawing of a hand holding a ribbon jaxtoposed against a back drop of the different lines, shapes, textures and patterns.

Finally - we will piece all the students' drawings together to create a continuous unbreakable stream of images and hands.
