Project:

Ribbon Animal - Cross contoured ribbons that mimik the form and volume of the animals facial features.

1. Choose a picture of an animal's face.

2. Draw that picture as large as you can on a 11x8 paper.

3. Add cross-contour lines  in pairs to represent ribbons across the facial features following the form of the animal.

4. Weave the contour lines over and under each other.

5. Add shades on the ribbons where they are weaving under  each other.

6. Keep distinctive facial features untouched by ribbons to preserve the identifying traits of the animal. ie: Eyes, nose, ears, mouth.
